Railroad Crossing Causes Headache For Burton Motorists [PHOTO]

Fenech Pictures

As if the construction on Saginaw Street isn’t enough of a pain, today motorists are dealing with a new problem on Bristol Road.  Someone hit one of the railroad crossing gates on Bristol Road between Dort Highway and Center Road causing it to snap.

So now, the mechanism is confused.  The gates go up, but then they come back down.  Since the broken gate can’t get in to its descended position, it resets itself.  Up and down, over and over, and no train in sight.

Try to avoid the area until officials can resolve the situation.
