Woman Swept Off Her Feet as Wave Turns Proposal Into a Washout [VIDEO]

Matthew and Lis will always have a story tell, as a giant wave swept her off her feet right as Matthew was about to propose. Fortunately, it was all caught on video.

I had the most amazing/crazy proposal," Lis wrote as she posted this video. "I was surprised by a song written by my fiancé. He sang it atop a rock surrounded by the ocean waters at Laguna beach. As soon as he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, a HUGE wave completely engulfed us and washed us up to shore. Soaking wet, I quickly jumped up and said 'YES!'"

We should also note that neither of them were injured, and the engagement ring was not lost!

(At least she said "Yes." Sometimes public marriage proposals can go very very wrong.)
