More than 100 homes and businesses were without power for the third time in less than a month...

..and it's all because of a squirrel and friends.

A squirrel  shorted out some wires and knocked out power in the Banks District on Thursday morning, and this wasn't the first time. Or the second. "I don't think anybody in the industry has found a way to keep them away from live wires," Phil Newton, director of the city's electric department said. "They do about as much damage as storms, really."

Just for the record, squirrel hunting season begins on September 15th.
