Police Say NO GHOST HUNTING at Northville Psychiatric Hospital

Northville Township Police have already made over 400 arrests for trespassing this year. 

Now, with Halloween approaching, they're beefing up security around the abandoned psychiatric hospital, which was closed in 2003.

The hospital opened in 1952 and is considered one of the most haunted locations in Michigan. Trespassing is punishable by a $500 fine and/or 90 days in jail if convicted.

Police are also concerned with a number of hazards in the building, including asbestos and broken glass.
