Police Dog Finds Kids Lost in Michigan Woods

As a "thank you" for his service, he received many pets on the head, some cold water and a tennis ball.

On Saturday, police officers in Bath Township (just northeast of Lansing) responded to a call about cries for help coming from a swampy area of the woods. Several different agencies were called in to help, but they weren't needed - Officer Aiko was on the hunt.

Aiko is a dog, by the way. In case you couldn't tell from the picture.

He put his nose to the ground and found the lost boys, who were then transferred to waiting medical personnel. Bath PD said that he received many pets on the head, as well as some water and a tennis ball.
