Picnic Style Dinner Benefit This Weekend for Grand Blanc Student Hurt by Auto Accident

You can help a Grand Blanc family that needs an extra boost.

Leah Underwood, a Grand Blanc High School Senior, was involved in a major car accident in July. Underwood remains in a coma with a traumatic brain injury, collapsed lungs, broken bones including her skull and pelvis. Her family needs help with the massive amounts of medical expenses including rehabilitation therapies.

On Saturday, September 24th from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the American Legion Post 413 in Grand Blanc (375 E. Grand Blanc Rd.) there will be a picnic style benefit dinner with a 50/50, wine pull, and raffles with items from more than 75 community businesses. The suggested donation is $15 for adults, and $8 for children 12 and under.
