These little stinkers were barely saved by a tail...literally.

North Dakota photographer Carlos Pacheco was taking pics of the controlled brush fire earlier this month, just north of Fargo, when he heard the kittens crying and meowing. One of them was trapped beneath the fire, the other was laying nearby.

He shielded himself from the fire with his jacket, rescued the two kittens and took them to a nearby shelter. One of the kittens' paws were burned, the other had smoke inhalation.

Luckily, the kittens are doing fine and the shelter plans on adopting them out together. The bandages!!! OMG on her little paws!
