People Spending More Money For Valentine’s Day

More people are going to spend more money this year for Valentine’s Day, which is up eight percent from last year. Some will spend up to $200 between flowers, gifts and dinner, while four million Americans are expected to get engaged.

Some say they will spend $10,000 on a ring, while others will spend between $1,000 to $5,000 on one. Even though a ton of people are expected to get a proposal, flowers are still the most popular gift on Valentine’s Day, followed by gift cards, jewelry and electronics. Do you spend a lot of money for Valentine’s Day? Or do you think it’s another Hallmark holiday?
