More people are going to spend more money this year for Valentine's Day, which is up eight percent from last year. Some will spend up to $200 between flowers, gifts and dinner, while four million Americans are expected to get engaged.

Some say they will spend $10,000 on a ring, while others will spend between $1,000 to $5,000 on one. Even though a ton of people are expected to get a proposal, flowers are still the most popular gift on Valentine's Day, followed by gift cards, jewelry and electronics. Do you spend a lot of money for Valentine's Day? Or do you think it's another Hallmark holiday?
