Part of Carpenter Road to Close for Three Days

A stretch of Carpenter Road will be shut down Monday through Wednesday for reconstruction.

MLive says the Genesee County Road Commission said the stretch on Carpenter that will be shut down - from Genesee to Belsay Roads - is due to milling and resurfacing.

The only traffic allowed through the work zone will be school buses and emergency vehicles. Motorists are advised to find alternate routes.
