The couple from Maryland says that they stand by their decision to let their 6 and 10-year-old children walk to the park alone.

Danielle Meitiv, who grew up in New York City and now resides in Maryland, says that the only thing that's changed since she was a child is "fear."

A complaint was filed with Child Protective Services after an observer saw her children walking home alone. Danielle and her partner were visited by CPS, and the children were interviewed at school without the parents' permission.

Danielle says that her children are "free range kids," and that they wear name tags that say, "I'm not lost" when they're out alone. You can read the full story HERE.
