I hope this doesn't have anything to do with their delicious soups and bread bowls.

A manager at a Manhattan Panera has been fired after he was caught on camera punching a female employee.

The witness who recorded the fight says that there were at least two more punches thrown before he started filming, and that the manager threw the woman down the stairs before she came back inside to retaliate. Witnesses say that she was in the middle of her shift and decided to quit.

Panera has issued a statement that they have a "no tolerance" policy, and that both employees have been fired.

Maybe it's just me, but you don't usually expect to see such anger at Panera. They're such a happy, hippie, wholesome business!
