October 12, 2011 I'm sure everyone remembers Dominick Calhoun, the boy who died as a result of child abuse. His mom and her then boyfriend have been charged and in the meantime, Dominick's grandparents have been pushing for laws to increase punishment for child abusers. The Calhoun family will be going to Lansing tomorrow to help get the word out to the people that child abuse affects, according to a press release.

June 7, 2011 A New York man was rescued this weekend after he tried to swim from New York harbor to Liberty Island, all because God told him to do it.Witnesses say he stripped down to his swim trunks, dove into the cold water and began his 3/4-mile journey.
Roughly 45 minutes later, he began struggling. That’s when someone called 911.

April 26, 2011 An Alitalia Flight heading to Rome from Paris was forced to make a detour stop in Libya on Sunday after a passenger grew increasingly agitated mid-journey.
According to CNN, flight attendants were eventually forced to immobilize the man after he tried attacking a flight attendant with his nail clippers.
