Is Driving Stoned Safer than Driving Drunk?

Research indicates that traffic fatalities are on the decline in states like Michigan, where medical marijuana is legal.

Economists Daniel Rees of the University of Colorado Denver and Mark Anderson of Montana State University conducted the study, and found that fatalities are down an average of 9% in the thirteen states that have made doctor-prescribed pot acceptable.

Fox 2 in Detroit had the cameras rolling again, only this time they caught defense workers not car builders. After a hard morning building parts for U.S. military Humvees and airliner roofs, the workers at Tower Defense and Aerospace took a much needed lunch break and wind down. According to a new Gallup poll, 50 percent of American adults favor legalizing marijuana, the highest percentage in Gallup’s 42-year history of asking that question. Forty-six percent of Americans believe marijuana should remain illegal.

Romulus Officers Used Drug Money for Marijuana, Alcohol, Prostitutes [VIDEO]

The former Romulus chief of police, his wife, and several officers were charged yesterday with operating a scheme in which drug money was used to pay for marijuana, alcohol and prostitutes.
