Thursday night in downtown Flint is an opportunity to get in a good run or walk and help inner-city kids get scholarships. The Ophelia Bonner 8k/5k races start at 6:30 and the weather is supposed to be much nicer than what we have had to suffer through lately.
July 17, 2012 On the Cars 108 morning show today Steph and I were talking about a robbery that happened in downtown Flint.The robbery took place at the Flint Crepe Company. I want to add it's a great place to eat in downtown Flint.
Personally I feel very safe in the downtown area and I know a lot of you do to. What caught my attention about the story was how at ease the robber appeared to be when breaking into the store Sunday night.

Bicycling is becoming more popular in Flint as people conserve fuel and take advantage of bike lanes that can now be found on many downtown streets. One thing that is still hard to find is parking for your two-wheeler. That is about to change.
June 28, 2012 Running the Crim is something that most everyone can do. They have events ranging from 1 mile to the well-known Crim 10-Mile race and everything in between. Prices for entry go up July 1st. For the 10-Miler, you'll save 10 bucks by signing up before that date.
June 25, 2012 Some people head to the big city on the 4th of July. Others run in the opposite direction. If that is you, head for the quiet country hamlet of Hadley for the "Not your ordinary Run-of-the-Mill race." The race starts and finishes at the Hadley Mill in Hartwig Community Park.
