Can you guess who this celebrity is? With a career spanning over seven decades, she is best known to contemporary audiences for her television roles.
Darth Vader may be an evil galactic overlord, but that doesn’t mean he’s above being a corporate shill for Madison Avenue. Hey, times are tough these days, even for a Sith Lord.
Who's sick of Super Bowl commercials? Yeah, me too! But that's not stopping me.
Matthew Broderick's Honda ad has been made even better with a split screen and some creative editing. It's a side-by-side comparison between the the 1986 movie 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off,' and this year's 'Matthew's Day Off.'
I promise, this is the LAST Super Bowl commercial. I'm swearing them off until next year!
It appears that the powers-to-be at Ford are upset with by Chevy's Silverado ad during Sunday's Super Bowl. The commercial depicts a post-apocalyptic world where the only people to survive were a few Chevy Silverado truck owners, who couldn't find their friend who drove a Ford
I had a feeling this was coming. First, people raved about how great of an ad the Clint Eastwood- Chrysler 'Halftime' two-minute commercial was. Second, we out none of the Chrysler 'Halftime' ad was filmed in Detroit. Now there is a parody. And it's kind of funny in a sarcastic sort of way.
Take the jump to get a look.
There's one more Super Bowl commercial that you probably haven't seen - in fact most of us didn't see it Sunday night, because it only aired in North Platte, Nebraska.
And this is no big budget ad featuring Jerry Seinfeld, Matthew Brodderick or Regis - it's a low rent spot with the one and only Will Ferrell pitching 'Old Milwaukee' beer. But it's getting more Internet buzz than most of the big guys' commercials. A lot more:
Yesterday, George posted the Chrysler ad with Clint Eastwood and asked if you thought this was the best Super Bowl commercial. The spot is all about the resilience of Detroit, but some critics aren't happy with the ad because it wasn't filmed in Detroit. They actually shot the commercial in New Orleans and L.A.
US Senate candidate Pete Hoekstra unveiled a new ad campaign during this year's Super Bowl contest. The commercial was definitely not as slick as offerings from Budweiser, (featuring their famous Clydesdales) or others, but it is getting plenty of attention. Criticism, actually.
Naysayers claim the ad's use of an Asian woman speaking broken English is offensive and racist.
Take a look for yourself, then watch Hoekstra's video response after the break.
It would be considered a benchmark of advertising for Budweiser. The many years that the company used the Clydesdale horses in their TV spots was cause for a return to splendor during the big game. You might have been a little surprised to see the Budweiser Clydesdales, show up in a new commercial, right? Well, the Super Bowl brings out the best in advertisers and it brought back them back during the Super Bowl 2012 commercials.
Chrysler's "Halftime In America" Super Bowl commercial certainly has a lot of people talking. But did it top last year's "Imported From Detroit" ad featuring Eminem?
Thanks to the Internet, you can see the best 2012 Super Bowl ads before the game. That means you'll be able to use the commercial breaks to grab a beer or go to the bathroom, and actually watch the football game. What? You don't care about the game? Eh, you'll figure something out.
