‘Titanic,’ the highest grossing film in movie history, is getting a 3D retrofit that is scheduled to hit theaters on April 6, 2012.
On Wednesday, director James Cameron introduced a trailer for this 3D update on the Titanic Facebook page. “I’m the king of the 3D world!”
Three new movies will be added to theaters this Friday, offering everything from cowboys and aliens to the Smurfs in 3-D.
The first is the Jon Favreau-directed ‘Cowboys & Aliens,’ in which Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford team to fight off – you guessed it – an alien-invasion in 1873 Arizona.
May 24, 2011 Paramount Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox and Lightstorm Entertainment jointly announced today that James Cameron’s “TITANIC” will be re-released worldwide on April 6, 2012.
The release, which marks the 100th anniversary of the Titanic setting sail (April 10th), will present the film in 3D for the first time ever.
