The second Friday of every month the Greater Flint Arts Council hosts the Artwalk in downtown Flint. Several venues participate, and all are within an easy walking distance of the GFAC on Saginaw St. The event goes from 6-9 pm and is free.
The fireworks will fly higher and longer than ever before at Monday's 10pm show in downtown Flint. The Flint Downtown Development Authority is sponsoring the downtown show this year and has added "high-burst' fireworks that can be seen from an even greater distance.
