An Owosso woman who appeared on 'Wheel of Fortune' this week missed a puzzle that any lifelong Michigan resident should have solved, but we're gonna give her the benefit of the doubt and blame it on the buzzer!

Who Was on Wheel of Fortune This Week?

Marie Kioski is a lifelong Michigan resident who lives in Owosso. The 53-year-old showed Pat Sajak where Owosso is on her hand, the way any true Michigander would.

She also told the longtime gameshow host that she enjoys going to various casinos around the state and enjoys playing the 'Wheel of Fortune' slot machines. If you shop at Meijer in Swartz Creek you just might run into Marie, as she's been an employed by the retailer for more than 30 years.

Marie competed on the April 30 show against Kimberly Wright from Florida and Russ Gergely from Ohio.

Marie Sorta Biffed the Michigan Puzzle

Take a look at the second 'Toss Up' puzzle from Tuesday night. If we tell you that the category was 'On the Map,' would you have been able to guess the right answer?

We'll give Marie the benefit of the doubt, because it looked like she and Russ both came up with 'Grand Rapids, Michigan' at the same time - but he was the one who rang in first.

Then Sajak - knowing that it's customary for Michigan residents to use their hands as maps - jokingly attempted to show Marie where Grand Rapids is. He clearly didn't know, as Kioski playfully corrected him.

How Did the Contestant From Owosso Fare on 'Wheel of Fortune?'

Although Kioski wasn't the evening's big winner, she did solve a couple of puzzles (see the video below) and won a trip to Puerto Rico. When everything was tallied up, Marie won a total of $10,163 in cash and prizes on the beloved gameshow. Congratulations, Marie!
