After September 14th, the pigs without homes will be euthanized.

The state of Kentucky had to step in on September 1st to a hoarding situation in Pendleton County - a woman, whose original intention was to start an animal rescue, found herself overwhelmed by pot-bellied pigs. Most of the animals are pregnant and/or malnourished.

Rescue organizations are racing to get homes for all of the pigs before the September 14th deadline when any remaining animals are set to be euthanized.

The rescues are looking for donations, adoptions, fosters, transports, etc. to help get the pigs into homes before the 14th.
