And it's all in memory of a fallen Grand Blanc police officer.

On Saturday, the Flint pet rescue group Pets in Peril offered a free clinic to vaccinate peoples' pets in honor of Tammy Bice, a Grand Blanc police officer who passed away last year.

In light of the numerous donations made in Tammy's name, the group got together with All About Animals and the Franklin Avenue Mission to provide free shots for people who can't afford them.

By the end of the clinic, they had provided shots to 354 cats and dogs, and 90 of those pets are scheduled to be spayed/neutered at All About Animals.

As an animal lover myself, I don't fault anybody for having the love but not the money for a pet. It's expensive to get care, so I totally understand. That's why there are WONDERFUL groups like this <3
