Ophelia Bonner Scholarship 8k/5k Thursday Downtown

Thursday night in downtown Flint is an opportunity to get in a good run or walk and help inner-city kids get scholarships.  The Ophelia Bonner 8k/5k races start at 6:30 and the weather is supposed to be much nicer than what we have had to suffer through lately.

Race packet pickup and late registration will take place at the U of M Pavilion at the corner of Saginaw and Kearsley streets beginning at 5 pm.  You can still sign up online at www.werunthistown.com

The course is flat and fast and goes through the College & Cultural area of Flint.  In addition to the 8k and 5k run and walk events, there will be a 1-mile race.
