Opheilia Bonner Scholarship 5k Run Thursday In Flint

Thursday, July 14th is the annual Ophelia Bonner Scholarship 5k race in downtown Flint.  Race starts at 6:30 pm.  In addition to the 5k run and walk races, there will be a 1-mile Kids' Fun Run. 

Proceeds from the race go to scholarships for local students in need.  Race day registration starts at 5:00 pm at the U of M Flint Pavilion.  Course is flat and fast and goes through the College Cultural area.  Prizes to overall male and female winners and male and female Masters winners.  Details at Bauman's Running/Walking Shop (810) 238-5981 or http://www.werunthistown.com/
