Michigan state authorities have charged a 20-year old man with shooting a Ferris State University student at his off-campus apartment, but police are still searching for a man believed to be responsible for killing a Michigan State University student this weekend.

DeCory Downing is being charged with attempted murder in the shooting of the Ferris student, according to FSU Public Safety.

MSU student Dominique Nolff was pronounced dead Saturday morning after a suspect shot him and his roommate Friday night. The shooting took place near the campus of Michigan State University. Sources say the suspect is described as a 20-25 year-old man, wearing tan pants, black coat, and black footwear.
