Police Officer and Suspect Both Shot in Grand Blanc Township

Hard to believe we're reading stories like this one that happened last night coming out of Grand Blanc Township. Seems weird not to hear Flint attached to that story.

A Grand Blanc Township police officer and a local man were shot after police responded to a domestic call earlier Monday night. That call came at about 4:45 p.m. from a home in the 5000 block of North Georgetown in Grand Blanc Township.

Grand Blanc Township police say one officer and a male suspect were shot. Both are recovering at Hurley Medical Center. The investigation has now been turned over to the Michigan State Police.
