Obama Asks Flint Students To Develop Next Generation Internet

YouTube

First there was dial-up, then there was DSL and broadband.  What will be next?  You could probably ask some students at Flint’s Kettering University.

President Obama‘s administration has asked the university to help develop the future of the internet.

The city of Flint and Kettering will participate in a new initiative called ‘U-S Ignite.”

It will develop new applications for next generation networks capable of transferring data up to 100 times faster than traditional broadband.
