Nominees Announced For The 84th Academy Awards

Hollywood is getting ready to roll out the red carpet for the 84th Academy Awards.  The live event takes place on Sunday, February 26th at 7pm and will be broadcast on ABC12.  This morning at 8:30, the announcement came down revealing this year’s nominees.

Martin Scorsese’s “Hugo” picked up the most nominations totaling 11, while silent film “The Artist” racked up 10 nominations.  “Moneyball” and “War Horse” each picked up six, as “The Descendants” and “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” both scored five.  Get the full list of nominees for the 84th Academy Awards after the jump.
