It's okay, I fell for it too.

You may have seen on various social media platforms the story released from a kind of shady looking 'news' website that article that Leonardo DiCaprio is moving to Warren, Michigan. I saw a couple of my friends, that shall remain nameless, share the article and freak out.

I got super excited and freaked out as well. I started fantasizing about how I could figure out a way to 'accidentally' run into Leo at a super market and we would become best friends. We would reenact the boat scene from Titanic and we would laugh. After I snapped out of it, I collected myself and came back to the real world and did a bit of research.

I went to my go to website to figure out if things on the Internet are true, Snopes.com. They had a few entries saying that other celebrities had fallen victim to bogus stories about how they were moving to a small town in pretty much insert blank-town, U.S.A. Then I took a closer look at the actual website and saw this:

Oops, I fell for it. I really should've known better not to trust everything on the Internet as fact. Guess this is a good lesson to remember when you see something that has been shared on Facebook by your friends, don't take it as fact. Do you research, and check it out. It will save you a lot of time wasted day dreaming about your friendship with Leo.
