Sure, there are Facebook apps for BlackBerry, Android, iPhone and other mobile devices, but for the iPad?  Nope.

Zuckerberg was pretty blunt when it came to explaining why there wasn’t an iPad launch during today’s mobile event: “The iPad isn’t mobile”. He later qualified this statement to say that Facebook loves working with Apple, but that the iPad isn’t as mobile as a phone (he’s right).

Facebook's Erick Tseng explained that "tablet" computers will not be limited to the iPad, and since many manufacturers have tablet-based products in the works, a solution that will satisfy iPad's needs, as well as the needs of other manufacturers is necessary.
