Further going to prove that everybody wants to make Flint a better, safer place.

Great news from a study that released its final numbers last Tuesday - crime is officially DOWN in the University Avenue Corridor. And a lot of it can be attributed to the University Avenue Corridor Coalition.

The coalition, which began in 2012, didn't start with a clear goal; they just knew that they wanted to see a positive change in the area. And it's working - with events like a holiday lighting contest, meet-up and clean-up and frequent meetings, the numbers speak for themselves: the area is improving.

And it's all thanks to dedicated residents. I'd say that's GREAT news!
