New Restaurant in the Works for Downtown Flint
There is talk of a new restaurant being added to the ground floor of the Dryden Building Downtown Flint, right next to the Capitol Theatre.
According to Jocelyn Hagerman, owner of SkyPoint Ventures, now that work is moving forward on the Capitol Theatre, a new restaurant is also in the works.
The Capitol was a big deal for us a far as developing the entertainment aspect of this," said Jocelyn Hagerman, who owns SkyPoint Ventures along with husband Phil Hagerman, who is the CEO of Diplomat Pharmacy. "We've often thought if the Capitol is up and running, this place will be full.
Skypoint has plans to meet with a Chicago-based group to see what kind of restaurant would be the best fit next to the 1,600 seat Capitol Theatre once it is completed.
