Three new Faygo flavors

Just this week, Faygo took to their Facebook page to welcome three new fizzy flavors:

  • Blackberry Melonade
  • Mango Tango
  • Pomberry Punch

Each flavor is included in their Ohana line of drinks.

New Faygo infusions or creations happen all over Michigan.

2023 has been a very creative year for the brand.

  • Faygo-infused line of chocolates by Detroit Chocolate Company. That line continues through fall. (Prepare yourself for an expensive nine pieces of chocolate.)
  • Michigan-famous Achatz Handmade Pie Company makes a limited edition Faygo Rock'n'Rye Pie, too. Wish it was a scratch 'n sniff pic, below.
  • Every year there's a Faygo Rock'n'Rye soft serve ice cream flavor, too.

While this isn't a thing yet, we still think it's crazy not to have a Faygo flavor-infused boozy seltzer line of drinks. I mean, c'mon White Claw or High Noon... get on that partnership.

Proudly Michigan Made

Faygo started in 1907. It was founded by immigrant brothers, Ben and Perry Feigenson. They were bakers -- it was their frosting flavors transformed to pop.

It wasn't until the late 1960s the rest of the United States learned of Faygo as they started advertising during Detroit Tiger baseball games.

Cheers to the "Faygo Kid" in all of us.

Remember Martin? The iconic building that served as the backdrop for the series is on the National Registry of Historic Places, thanks to its use in the show.

Although the show was filmed in Los Angeles, Detroit played an important role in the sitcom.
