Let's be honest - if there are no cat videos, there's no internet.

A bold new anti-smoking ad is taking aim at cat lovers and animal enthusiasts, and it's the first time it's ever been done.

The video, put forth by the Truth Initiative, targets young adults who care more about their pets than themselves. Sherry Emery, the director of the University of Illinois, Chicago's Health Media Collaboratory, told NPR, "Sometimes people don't care enough about themselves. They do care about their pets. And cat videos, of course. They capitalize on this cultural phenomenon where people just love cat videos."

I quit smoking three years ago, and I haven't looked back. But only because I have cats. ;)
