Needy Families Benefit from Free Food Distribution

A free food distribution for the area's needy families is being held in Grand Blanc this weekend at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church.

HSLC has given away more than 50,000 pounds of food to needy people so far this year, and will conduct its last distribution of the season tomorrow. (Saturday)The food distribution is Saturday, October 1st from 10 a.m. to noon. Please tell anyone you know who may benefit from this service that they are welcome. No proof of income or need is required, recipients need only bring a driver's license, or photo ID. Food is given out on a first-come, first-served basis.

Holy Spirit is located at 7234 Fenton Rd., in Grand Blanc. (Fenton Rd., just north of Grand Blanc Rd.)
