NBC’s Rock Center Spotlights Flint Assembly Graveyard Shift [VIDEO]

The spotlight was on Flint, as General Motors is once again claiming its place as the number one car manufacturer in the world. The once-invincible GM employed 80,000 people in its heyday; today approximately 7,000 collect a paycheck from the automaker. But there is optimism as the Flint Assembly plant is once again putting your neighbors back to work on the 'Graveyard Shift.'

The ripple effect is being felt throughout the community, as restaurants and other industry experience a mini boom. You'll see familiar scenes from Angelo's in this piece as well, as they report a 5% increase that coincides with GM's comeback.
