Nationwide “Tips For Jesus” Donor Leaves Huge Tips In Michigan [Videos]

Can you imagine leaving work several thousand dollars richer than when you walked in?

"Tips For Jesus" is a popular, anonymous Instagram account that has shown pictures of restaurant tabs with more than generous tips left all over the country. Incredibly generous tips have been left in cities such as Washington, San Francisco, Chicago, Hollywood, and now Ann Arbor.

A $3,000 tip was left for an $87.98 tab at Bar Louie, and a $7,000 gratuity was left for a $200 bill at Alley Bar after the U of M vs Notre Dame game, back in September.

No one is sure who the generous donors are behind the philanthropic Instagram account. They want to stay anonymous. There is some speculation that they all live in different parts of the country and just want to share their wealth and make people happy. The words "Doing the Lord's work, one tip at a time." is printed next to the extravagant tip on each receipt. More than $54,000 in tips have been left to surprised and happy service workers so far.
