Here in Flint we need two things: clean water and an IHOP! Sadly, I'm pretty sure we'll have an IHOP first. It's National Pancake Day, and IHOP is offering a free short stack of pancakes to all guests until 7pm. But for us here in Genesee County to take advantage of that deal, it's a bit of a challenge. But last year, news broke that the former Salvatore Scallopini's on Miller Road will soon be the new site of Flint Township's own IHOP, which is expected to open later this year.

Before White Castle opened in town, I made many a trip to Metro Detroit for a late night slider. Soon, we will no longer watch IHOP commercials with a watery mouth! Are you excited for Flint to have an IHOP? Have you ever made a late night out-of-town road trip to satisfy a craving?
