Unfortunately, the myth about Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara leaving Mythbusters is confirmed. After busting almost 1,000 myths, the "build team" will not be returning for the next season of the hit science show on Discovery Channel.

While there is no official word as to why the trio will not be returning, Kari tweeted:

Thank you to all the fans who have supported us. The show is taking a new direction. It was an amazing run. I learned so much about myself and the world. I love you all @MythBusters. I am sad for an ending but there will be exciting new adventures for us.

While Grant is involved in an upcoming "Star Trek" TV Movie playing Sulu, there is no word on what Kari and Tori have in the works.  But considering that Tori has worked behind the scenes on movies like "Star Wars" Episodes I and II, "Galaxy Quest", "Terminator 3" and "Scooby-Doo", I don't think he'll have any trouble finding something to do.  Being the first woman to break the myth that girls don't fart, along with her charm and good looks, it won't be long before Kari is back on the air.
