At a time when Michigan State needs some good press, this is a welcome announcement.

Families Against Narcotics (FAN) announced on their Facebook page that MSU will be offering "recovery housing" for students for the first time starting this fall.

I love the fact that they make it a point to say that they'll be getting a "real college experience." I'm sure that a lot of students would be wary of sober housing because they'd feel like they're living in a bubble.

This is such a great idea and program, and I hope it benefits a lot of people. College can be a wonderful experience...or a terrible one. When you're off on your own for the first time, peer pressure and partying is appealing. Hopefully, this helps a lot of people!
