The Michigan State Police have announced they will be gathering toys for the less fortunate in Genesee County with their 'Stuff the Blue Goose' campaign this weekend.

The MSP has partnered with 'Toys for Tots' and will have a patrol car - known as the Blue Goose - available on Saturday for shoppers to place a new, unwrapped toy, non-perishable food item or new clothing item into the State Police patrol car and thus "stuff a blue goose." The MSP says that "while stuffing a stocking for family and loved ones, 'Stuff a Blue Goose,' to aid families in need this holiday season." State troopers in full uniform will also be on hand and all donations will benefit 'Toys for Tots.'

The 'Stuff the Blue Goose' campaign takes place Saturday, December 14th from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Elga Credit Union located at 2303 South Center Road in Burton.
