The Los Angeles Times[/caption]The space shuttle Endeavour was a magnet for gawkers as it made it's way through the streets of Los Angeles recently. Crowds had to be managed, traffic had to be re-routed, and because of the sheer size of the space shuttle, objects had to be moved. Even a small tree lost it's life in the shuttle's weekend journey to the California Science Center. You can watch the time lapse video of the Endeavour's weekend in Los Angeles after the jump.

All in all, the Endeavour's weekend in Los Angeles cost the city ten million dollars. Are you a fan of space stuff like this? Was it money well spent, or not so much? Let us know in the comments section below.
