Jordan Peele has a different approach to horror, and if you're a die-hard scary movie fan, you'll love it.

In case you've been living under a rock, you may have heard that Jordan Peele of Key & Peele fame, has entered into the world of directing...HORROR movies.

Yes, THAT Jordan Peele...

I just wanted an excuse to post gifs from the show. Sorry not sorry.

Anyways, his debut directorial debut Get Out won him an Oscar for best original screenplay and was nominated for Best Picture, Actor and Director. The film basically took racism and dipped it into the world of horror and, frankly, it was terrifying.

It definitely wasn't what I thought it was going to be, though. And I liked that. It was different. Very Manchurian Candidate; it was a welcomed change from the typical gruesome horror flick.

And Us is the exact same thing. It's got a very Alfred Hitchcock feel to it, so if you like slasher/gory horror films, this isn't for you. It's not clear-cut. It makes you think, and it's got an M. Night Shyamalan-esque twist at the ending.

I'm a total horror-movie-junkie, and I've learned that not all scary movies are about ghosts and serial killers. I like what Jordan Peele did here, and if you open your mind up a bit, you'll probably like it, too.
