Mother Leaves Baby in Car While She Shops at Mall in Dearborn Heights [VIDEO]

Several people went inside the mall to look for the mother, who was on her phone and shopping.

Lawanna Thomas noticed a baby, sleeping in the backseat of a running parked car, in the parking lot of a Gordon's Food Service at 6:30 PM last Thursday. She captured it on her phone, and then called the police.

Shoppers went inside the mall to look for the mother. By 6:52 PM, the police hadn't shown up, so the woman got in her car and left...but the baby's grandmother is furious. Grandma also claims she hasn't talked to the mother since then.

I can't believe this is still happening! There's deaths EVERY SUMMER from kids and babies being left in cars, yet people STILL do it! And it's not safe to leave the car running, either! Unreal.
