"This tantrum is brought to you by sheer exhaustion and an invisible scratch on her leg."

Jennifer Closson Aprea, a mom from California, decided to lighten up the situation during her four-year-old daughter Danielle's tantrum...by lip syncing to it. She said that she tried to rationalize with her daughter, but it didn't work. "I figured it might just make her laugh and diffuse the situation so we could both get some sleep," she said.

She said that she doesn't want people to think she was ignoring her daughter. "I would never do this if I thought it would make her feel badly," she said. "Sometimes you just need to laugh with your kids to get them through the tough tantrums."
