Mom Buys Billboard To Help Daughter Win Prom Queen Title

Nadia Silveira, Flickr

It seems that prom gets more and more expensive and over the top. I think this is a case of way too much and getting out of control. One mom actually spent over $1,300 on a billboard to help make her daughter prom queen.

The billboard has a picture of her daughter, Brandy, with a vote for her for prom queen next to the picture. The mom defends her spending by saying it’s her daughter’s senior and it means a lot to her. She’s also placed ads in a few newspapers, but seriously don’t you think this is way too much?
