Parents, don't be alarmed - it's just a drill.

This morning, starting at approximately 9:30 AM, Davison High School will be having an emergency drill. The exercise will demonstrate the dangers of distracted driving for students, and emergency vehicles will begin arriving in less than an hour.

The exercise is expected to be over by 11 AM. They posted on the Davison Community Schools Facebook page about this so that parents, staff and community members are not alarmed.

Hope it all goes well and gets the message across to these kids. It's a misconception that teenagers are the most distracted drivers; in fact, drivers in their twenties and thirties are statistically more likely to be distracted. However, teaching these kids early is key.
