A couple in Missouri bought their dream house, a $450,000 home overlooking a golf course, near St. Louis in 2007.

Soon after, they began seeing brown recluse spiders.

The problem got so bad that they said spiders were "bleeding" from the walls. The couple filed a lawsuit against State Farm and the previous owners for not disclosing the problem. A biology professor estimates that there could be anywhere from 6,000-8,000 spiders in the house, and that's a low estimate.

The house is now owned by a mortgage association has covered the house with nine tarps & permeated the house to kill the spiders and their eggs.
