This is turning into quite the deal for Buena Vista Township Clerk Gloria Platko. Even though they're not repeating what she said.

Buena Vista Township Clerk Gloria Platko is drawing sharp criticism for using a racial slur toward her co-worker and Buena Vista Township Supervisor Dwayne Parker. Even though it's a racial slur his friends say to him all the time. Platko isn't exactly backing down from using the racial slur during a telephone conversation that was recorded back in January.

During a township meeting, Interim Manager Dexter Mitchell asked for a closed chamber meeting because he wanted to play the recording for other township officials. Ironically, it was Platko who refused  citing a violation of township bylaws as her reason. She insisted that whatever was on the recording needed to be heard by everyone in attendance.

The offended party Buena Vista Township Supervisor Dwayne Parker, was at the center of an investigation for improper use of a township credit card. More in the video.
