The treatment fund has been helping people pay their medical bills since 1944.

The Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund helps patients in Bay, Midland, Gladwin, Clare, Isabella and Gratiot counties pay off their mounting medical bills. Not only that, but they work as advocates for people to help them understand, and even sometimes question, their medical bills. They'll even call pharmaceutical companies to help get prescription prices lowered.

The foundation was started in 1944 after the death of Mrs. Elsa Pardee, who fought cancer and lost. She allocated $1 million to the "promotion of the control and cure of cancer."

ELGA Credit Union will match every dollar donated, up to $5,000. Click HERE to donate.
