Mid-Michigan Group Offering Relief From The Heat

We are in what weather people say is the hottest week of the year. Do you or someone you know need to cool off? Here’s some help. A Mid-Michigan group is offering some relief from the heat. Catholic Charities’ North End Soup Kitchen on Stewart Street in Flint will be open this week, Monday-Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Those who visit can enjoy air conditioning, TV and a cool glass of water. Meals will also be served. It’s not the ‘Trump Plaza’ but it’s a lot cooler than being outside.
