Bandit's human family had pretty much given up hope for a happy reunion, but thanks to social media, and a few kind people, this beloved family pet is back where he belongs!

David and Mary Crawford, of Mundy Township, were traveling north with their truck and trailer on June 17 when they lost control of the trailer near West Branch. The rollover crash and the 100 foot drop caused lots of bumps and bruises and a broken collar bone for David, and when Mary opened her door to get help, their family dog bolted from the vehicle.

For 16 days there were sightings of Bandit around I-75 and the crash site, but the dog was hard to catch and the family began to lose hope of a happy ending.

Finally, the elusive dog was caught on a West Branch golf course and reunited with his family.
